New Webcam - Skaket Beach

I'm a sucker for beach webcams. I discovered that Orleans now has one overlooking Skaket Beach, on Cape Cod Bay. The camera image is on the same webpage as their cameras at Nauset Beach. Check them out ...Here. The image below was taken this morning.

New Beach Webcam - Nauset Beach in Orleans

Orleans' Nauset Beach is a town owned public beach and is a continuation of the Cape's outer beach that extends from Provincetown to Chatham's Monomoy Island, a distance (my guess) of about 50-60 miles. A beautiful beach and heavily used by Orleans residents and guests. Parking is a problem, but the are many walk-ins from the town of Orleans.  Anyway, they have a new webcam that rotates, on a minute by minute schedule, through 3 different views. Take a look.... here. I captured the image below a few minutes ago. Another beautiful day!

Coast Guard Beach Webcam

Here's another Eastham webcam that you can enjoy. This one is housed (I'm pretty sure) in the bathhouse at the top of the walkway leading from Coast Guard Beach, in the Cape Cod National Seahore. This webcam would have been useful during the last two weekends when we had the hugh waves from Hurricane Bill and Tropical Storm Danny. Check it out!

Wellfleet Harbor Web Cam

Wellfleet harbor webcamI found a new webcam (new to me, anyway) that overlooks Wellfleet harbor. This camera apparently pans and takes a panaramic view of the whole harbor area. Well worth a look-see. Take a look at http://www.mywellfleet.com/.

PS. If you look at night, it'll be dark.
