When Bev & I were on our walk on Coast Guard Beach on Jan 1st we noticed the erosion on the embankments, caused by the prior week's Nor'easter that swept up the coast. Although we got no snow, the wave action was fantastic. The damage didn't take out the stairs, however. In Wellfleet one house was just too close to the edge, and has been in the paper.
