Hi Robert. I was reading various blogs when I came upon your site and smiled. I will be in Boston next weekend - I cannot wait. I honeymooned at Cape Cod. I love it there.
Sadly, I cannot imagine ever being able to afford to pay more than 200,000 for home. Unless, of course, I become a a famous writer, then I will be in need of you immediate services! ;)
My grandparents sold their Cape home (South Yarmouth) in 1981 for (are you ready?) $28,000!!! I was just out of college back then, waffling between Boston and Philly, but if I'd known they were letting it go so cheaply I would've bought it myself! Now I fear I'll never be able to afford a Cape house again unless I invent the next ShamWow. Then I'll be calling Bob. :)
