The likely site of the first windmill built on Cape Cod was discovered - in Orleans! The 'hunt' has been underway for several months. The discovery of several windmill artifacts, including 3 early millstones, within a block of each other and near a suspected site has given researchers the best evidence yet of the early site. The likely site of the first windmill built on Cape Cod was discovered - in Orleans! The 'hunt' has been underway for several months.
